Streaming is cultivating the music industry. I feel straming pofit wise is conplete garbage. Artist take the time to compose and perfect there art i mean shouldnt they get a bigger piece of the pie. i mean im sur you can agree that you like having all this music at your disposal and CDs are not as poplular but at the same time n o t eveyone can cell CDs unless youre taylor or bey!!!! but atleast make it fair for everone…..
See I’m tired of hearing that the industry is dead. Its not!!!! We are simply finding more and more way to listen to music. All the other major companies can see that our generation is cultivating the music industry and we have a different way of doing things. At one point everything was radio, CD’S and cassette tapes… Now yes don’t get me wrong all theses things still exist but at the same time technology is slowly taking over. now its all about mp3 downloads and social media youtube iThis U That . Its amazing on how fast you can hear a tune and automatically have in your library to enjoy so my question is how do you guys listen to music
Todays’ music industry changing… So how do we Respond?? Well i feel that no one really know how to respond to the music industry everyone is just doing there own thing. Its all about trial and error. you must come up with strategies and continue to come up with strategies. There and are people who do a stand up job in strategizing in the music business that i couldn’t pick just one so here is an article from Digital Music News of the 12 most powerful people in the music industry. something that i really took from class and see for myself is that that they all own something. the are “THE MAN”. Theses Entrepreneurs continue to make smart investment and continue to come up with different strategies like partnerships and small investment with huge rewards. if you wanna know how to make it don’t do what they do but study what they do
So I’m taking this business class that explains the music industry and the different career paths that you can take. coming into this class has totally changed my outlook on where my career is going in the music industry. this class has taught me everything i thought i knew. the dream of an artist is usually go to LA and get discover but there is so much more out there than just LA and New York city. If thats your dream you should re- consider. its so many other ways of being successful in the music industry. Go everywhere else but there. Don’t get me wrong I’ve been to both cities and they are lovely. Theres so many people there just like me. Its much easier and more of a learning experience to get them to come to you. You don’t need labels or anything like that all you need is consistency and hard work to make it in the industry. Even the artist are starting to realize that. So many artist are quitting there labels everyday a lot of them go on to creating their on label or produce their own things. lets not forget about youtube and all the other sites that can help you like: Facebook, twitter, Vimeo just to name a few. All it takes is connecting with your fans. Don’t just be a taker be a giver.
This stuff is major!!!! Changes are taking place!!! Record companies are in trouble witch also means more jobs….. if thats something We would choose to do as artist. since artist are leaving their label that means now they need help as well. Or maybe social media may be a better route to take.

Honestly the is what I catch on to music the quickest. I love the feeling and the excitement that comes with it. Music has gotten me through so much. Its just amazing when someone get the chance to hear me play and they get inspired to want to pursue all of there goals;or when i go to a show and feel refreshed and inspired it makes me hungry for more. then its like…. I must create something!!!!! I feel that music was one of the best inventions ever. its something always be around and something will continuously change and inspire.

In just a few short days.I had my first studio session with was awesome by the way. this was my very first time recording in the studio for something serious. This was a lot of fun. My buddy, an aspiring Dj and producer, Matthew Grosso was so polite , helpful, and patient. I had an awesome time working with him. I also went to a Miley Cyrus concert. This concert was very interesting. This young girl is really good at entreating. She owned the stage! It was amazing to see so many people at her concert. As i was sitting in the audience watching her drummer I was thinking that could be me someday. At that point i was overwhelmed with joy, going to her concert gave me that push that I needed. I definitely had more fun than I thought I would.
